Happy Fall!

October was a very busy month for us, with lots of fun-filled events. I have finally caught the blog up! Be sure and check out the older posts so that you can see all of our new pics. Happy Fall!!!

Trick or Treat!!!! - Oct. 31, 2008

Well, we finally got Chase to wear his Tigger costume! And to get him to keep it on, all we had to tell him was that we were going Trick or Treating for candy. Once he got the first candy in his bucket, he was all set! He loved Trick or Treating and went to every house on our street. He even enjoyed seeing all of the kids come to our door to trick or treat, and was very entertaining for MiMi and PawPaw. Here's our little Tigger:

Dancing Machine!

Chase LOVES music and LOVES to dance!!! Here is our little man breaking it down:

Fall Festival Party - Oct. 30, 2008

Chase had his Fall Festival Party at school on Thursday. He missed most of the activities that day because he was home sick with bronchitis. But I took him to the party for about an hour so he wouldn't miss out on all the fun. You definitely couldn't tell that he was sick! He had fun eating Halloween goodies and jumping in the space jump. He is so cute playing with his classmates. Take a look:

Keeping Baby Hayes - Oct. 26, 2008

Last Sunday night, we kept Hayes for a couple of hours and Chase was too excited! He loves Hayes, and calls any baby that he sees "baby Hayes," even the baby in the sun on Teletubbies. He was very fascinated with her, and it was so neat to watch him interact with her since he loves babies, and especially since we have one on the way! He played blocks on the floor with her, and then did a show to try and make her laugh. I'm afraid Tanner won best entertainment in her eyes though. You'll have to watch the video of her first encounter with Tanner - it's so cute!!!

Walking in Daddy's Shoes

Last weekend, I caught Chase walking through the house with Billy's shoes on. It's sad to think that one day his feet will be that big! He loves his Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Cooper! - Oct. 25, 2008

Last Saturday, we went to the Natural Science Museum for Cooper's fifth birthday party. There were so many kids running around Chase didn't know what to think. Nevertheless, he enjoyed eating birthday cake and then running that sugar off on the playground. Hope you had a great birthday, Cooper!

Pumpkin Carving Party - Oct. 24, 2008

Last Friday night, we went to our old neighbors' house, Brandon and Amy, for a pumpkin carving party. It was so much fun, especially for the kids. They had halloween balls to play kick, bouncing balls to sit on, a pumpkin pinata, bonfire, hay ride, pumpkin carving contest, and the cutest Halloween decorations and goodies! Chase even found a playmate. Thanks Brandon and Amy for such a fun night!! Here are the pics......

The Pumpkin Patch - Oct. 18, 2008

Two weekends ago, Billy's cousin Dana, her husband Brandt and daughter Paris came to visit. We had so much fun while they were here. We visited the pumpkin patch where we rode on a hay ride, saw all kinds of animals, picked out our pumpkins, ran through hay mazes and climbed stacks of hay bales. We all had a blast! Chase really enjoyed getting to play with Paris. Even though she is 8 years old, she was such a trooper playing with Chase and his train set and other toys. We can't wait to see them again!! Here are a few pictures that I took before the batteries ran out on my camera.

Chase has a secret.........

That's right - Chase is going to be a Big Brother!! We are so excited!!! The baby is due May 12, 2009. I don't think Chase really grasps the whole concept yet, but he LOVES the babies at day care, and is such a good helper already. I think he will soar into his role as Big Brother!! And as long as we have a healthy baby, we don't care if he gets a little brother or sister!! I'll keep you updated as my pregnancy progresses.

Fun at the Fair

Last Saturday we took Chase to the MS State Fair. We had soooo much fun!!!! He's finally old enough to really start enjoying it and participating in some of the rides. Of course, the first thing we had to do was ride the horsie!! After that, he and Daddy went down the gigantic slide together. I tried to video it, but the video didn't turn out good. Still, Chase loved it!! Next, we let him ride the carousel. Then on to the kiddie rides. I can't tell you how strange it was to put my child on a ride and let him ride by himself!! He's gotten so big!! But the funniest thing was to watch other kids get on the ride with Chase and see his little facial expressions. It was too cute!! The last thing we did before pigging out was ride the ferris wheel together. I've put together a slide show of all the pictures I took. What a fun family outing!!

Happy Birthday Joe!

Joe had a birthday in September. So we threw him a BIG birthday party, with a cake, balloons, presents and food galore! He seemed to really enjoy it and said that it was the first birthday cake he ever had!! We love you Joe and hope you had a GREAT birthday!!

Chase and Tanner

I left these pictures out when I was catching up the blog this weekend. While we were at my parents over Labor Day weekend, Chase was riding the rocking horse and decided he wanted Tanner to ride with him. He kept saying, "Tanner, c'mon!!!" He's gotten to where he wants Tanner to do everything that he does, and really loves playing with him. So, I finally got Tanner up on the rocking horse with Chase and the laughter exploded!!! Tanner was such a good sport!

Trying to Catch Up!!

Well, it has been a while since my last post. We have been really busy with work, lately, and it has taken all of my time just keeping up with our hectic schedules!! But we have managed to take a little time for some fun along the way. We celebrated Billy's 30th birthday three weekends ago, then spent the next weekend celebrating Labor Day in Oxford and Tupelo, hoping to avoid hurricane Gustav. Last weekend Billy and I both had to work, but still managed to squeeze in a trip to the circus with Chase. This weekend, we have been trying to catch up on house work, a little R&R, and everything else. Chase is trying to come down with a cold, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that he'll kick it without having to see the doctor. While I was trying to update our blog, I heard Billy telling Chase, "Go show Mama!" And this is what I stumbled on:

Chase put his shoes on all by himself!!!

Well, I'm finally done posting all of our latest pictures and videos. Hope you enjoy "catching up!!"

First trip to the Circus!

Last weekend, the circus was in town - so Chase got to go see it for the first time. It lasted about 2 hours, and held his attention the entire time! He wasn't as impressed with the human acts as much as he was the animal acts. He LOVED the elephants and tigers, and liked the dog show, too. I tried to take a few pictures, but from our seats my camera wouldn't zoom in far enough and my flash did not pick up much of the action. But here are a few of the pictures I took:
