Bath time!

Taking a bath is one of Chase's favorite things to do right now. Every night we ask him if he's ready to take a bath and he takes off running to his bathtub. He's even learning how to take off his own clothes. He definitely loves playing in the water! You can see for yourself....

Happy Birthday Mamaw!

Last weekend we went to Kosciusko for Mamaw's surprise birthday party. We really enjoyed getting to see and visit with everyone there. Chase enjoyed entertaining everyone, as usual. He especially liked getting to ride the 4 wheeler with Dana and diving into his cake and ice cream. Thanks, Deidre and Dana, for getting him all cleaned up!

These are from the first day and are of Chase playing in the water holes at Lil Squirts Hollow. Oh, how he loves the water!


These are mostly from the second day when Mimi and Papaw joined us. We rented a cabana and had more of a laid-back day. Chase still got to swim and slide 'til his heart was content! He slept the whole way home!!

The Water Slide - Geyser Falls

This week we took our vacation and spent a couple of days at Geyser Falls near Philadelphia, MS. It was a BLAST! We spent most of our time at "Lil Squirts Hollow" which was appropriate for Chase's age. He loved playing in the water and running through the water falls. He kept watching the other kids slide down the "mini" water slides, but wasn't sure about it for himself. He finally decided he wanted to slide. These are pictures of his first time down the water slide. Needless to say, he LOVED it!! Everytime he got out he would say, "slide again?" He is too big for his britches!!

First Bike Ride

Last night, Chase had his very first bike ride! He loved it!!! I was afraid he would never be able to go, because of having to wear a helmet, and he usually will not wear a hat of any kind. But when we told him he had to wear it in order to ride, he didn't mind at all!! Such a big boy!

4th of July

Chase had such a big day!!! First, we went to the MS Ag Museum for their Family Fourth Festival. He got to ride a pony, which was the highlite of his day!! He grinned from ear to ear the whole time. He also got to play in bubbles, eat watermelon & ice cream, ride the carousel, and see lots of neat things in the museum. After we got home and he took a nap, we played all afternoon in his swimming pool. He loves to go "schwimmin!!" That night, we went to Liberty Park in Madison and set up our chairs to watch the fireworks show. Chase didn't bat an eye!! He was very excited to see the fireworks, and kept saying, "WOW! Look! Fireworks!!"

Just Getting Started

Okay - this is my first attempt at a blog. I hope to catch on quick. It may take me a while to cover everything since Chase entered our world. I'll start with his most recent pictures first, and then try to go back and capture his first year. I think this will be a great way to share his most precious moments with everyone, as well as give you a way to keep up with the little squirt (which is very hard to do these days, as he is growing up so fast)!!!
