Chase and Tanner

I left these pictures out when I was catching up the blog this weekend. While we were at my parents over Labor Day weekend, Chase was riding the rocking horse and decided he wanted Tanner to ride with him. He kept saying, "Tanner, c'mon!!!" He's gotten to where he wants Tanner to do everything that he does, and really loves playing with him. So, I finally got Tanner up on the rocking horse with Chase and the laughter exploded!!! Tanner was such a good sport!

Trying to Catch Up!!

Well, it has been a while since my last post. We have been really busy with work, lately, and it has taken all of my time just keeping up with our hectic schedules!! But we have managed to take a little time for some fun along the way. We celebrated Billy's 30th birthday three weekends ago, then spent the next weekend celebrating Labor Day in Oxford and Tupelo, hoping to avoid hurricane Gustav. Last weekend Billy and I both had to work, but still managed to squeeze in a trip to the circus with Chase. This weekend, we have been trying to catch up on house work, a little R&R, and everything else. Chase is trying to come down with a cold, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that he'll kick it without having to see the doctor. While I was trying to update our blog, I heard Billy telling Chase, "Go show Mama!" And this is what I stumbled on:

First trip to the Circus!

Last weekend, the circus was in town - so Chase got to go see it for the first time. It lasted about 2 hours, and held his attention the entire time! He wasn't as impressed with the human acts as much as he was the animal acts. He LOVED the elephants and tigers, and liked the dog show, too. I tried to take a few pictures, but from our seats my camera wouldn't zoom in far enough and my flash did not pick up much of the action. But here are a few of the pictures I took:

Laughter a Must!!!

Since Chase was just a few months old, he has been smiling and laughing up a storm! He has brought so much joy to our family, and we are truly blessed to have this little angel in our lives!!! Here is a video of Billy and Chase and Tanner being silly and having a ball (well, Tanner might not be enjoying it as much as the other two). You can see how the sweet sound of his laughter will make anyone smile!!!

Hotty Toddy - Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Billy's birthday, Chase and I gave him tickets to the Ole Miss opening football game. So for Labor Day weekend, that's what we did, and Chase got to experience his first football game. He made it all the way through the pre-game show and the 1st Quarter!! We had a lot of fun. We already knew he liked football, but this just confirmed it. As a souvenier, we bought him a little Ole Miss football, and he will play with it for as long as you will throw it to him. The cutest thing was hearing him scream out "Go Rebels" and "Hotty Toddy" during the game!

Swim Lessons

Well, Chase has now completed his first set of swim lessons - the waterbaby 1 class, and has started the next class - waterbaby 2. Here are some pictures from one of our last lessons in the waterbaby 1 class. I'm so glad we started him in swim lessons because he loves the water so much!! We both look forward to this every week!!!
